8th Annual Run for Clean Air



What: Regional family event centered around a 5k run/walk (walkers are invited and welcome!). The Run for Clean Air is a combination of an air quality-awareness event for East Tennessee and a fundraiser for the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition. To learn more about the ETCFC and our actions/projects, visit us here online! When: Saturday, May 14, 2011; registration starts onsite at 7:30am, run starts at 9am. We ask participants to have completed onsite registeration by 8:30am so as not to delay the race start. Where: Beautiful Cherokee Boulevard in Knoxville, TN. Why: To celebrate the wonderful outdoor environment that we have in East Tennessee and raise awareness for regional work that is led by the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition to improve our air quality and put alternative fuels in use! You can put together your own team to participate, and we have also implemented a reduced price for entry for families of 3 or more!!
