 What: Regional, family event centered around a 5k run/walk (walkers are invited and welcome!). The Run for Clean Air is a combination of an air quality-awareness event for East Tennessee and a fundraiser for the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition. When: • Saturday, May 11, 2013 • registration starts onsite at 7:00am, run starts at 9am • We ask participants to have completed onsite registration by 8:30am so as not to delay the race start. Please be prepared for it to take a few minutes to get through registration onsite.  Where: Beautiful Cherokee Boulevard in Knoxville, TN.  Why: To celebrate the wonderful outdoor environment that we have in East Tennessee and raise awareness for regional work that is led by the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition to improve our air quality and put alternative fuels in use! This begins with what community citizens can do to help, and that is what you will find here. Check our AQinfo page to learn about our local air quality issues. Who: Anyone is invited to attend! You can put together your own Team to participate (families count as teams), and registration rates are the cheapest for Teams!! Teams must include at least 4 participants; see the Teams page for more info and the main registration page for information on the reduced fee.
